This morning, at 8:30 a.m., we met with the builder, the electrician, and the cabinet man. Talk about being overwhelmed......at least Allison was. We determined where our outlets, switches, fans/fans with lights, can lights, flood lights, and other lights would go. In addition, we discussed how we wanted our cabinets designed. An hour and a half later, we had made several decisions! We were not only tired but sweaty and hot!
When we came by later that evening, we noticed that they had installed the vent above the front bedroom and the garage, the window above the front door, and the window in the formal dining room. The framers also cut the holes in the roof for the whirlybirds (sp?). Also, the heating and air guy installed the HVAC unit in attic. We also had some switch boxes, canned lights, and outlet boxes installed.
Things are moving fast now! Oh, and in case you are wondering, everything extra is about $75.00. :)
